A newly formed decentralized autonomous organization called Next Generation Asset DAO (NGAD) @NGADfuture has a vision of expanding the utility of on-chain assets across blockchain ecosystems.
Brought to life by the core contributors of @Equilibriafi and its vibrant DAO community, NGAD is dedicated to forging a new era of prosperity for liquid staked tokens (LSTs), real-world asset (RWA) tokens, and other digital assets.
The DAO aims to become the go-to platform for both existing and emerging protocols like @Skilletcook, offering a comprehensive solution for asset expansion and intrinsic value enhancement.
$NGAD has 2 objectives:
a. Aligned Incentives
@NGADfuture operates on the principle of shared value, where community members representing various partner protocol DAOs contribute their collective wisdom. All participants have a stake in the rewards generated from the assets accumulated and activities conducted by NGAD.
The DAO’s primary focus resides on protocols exhibiting innovative use cases for LST and RWA assets, with the goal of maximizing capital efficiency and aligning economic incentives across all involved parties.
By accumulating governance tokens from these protocols, NGAD seeks to provide a unified growth avenue and serve as a flywheel for value creation across ecosystems.
b. Supportive Ecosystem for Collaboration
In line with its vision, NGAD is dedicated to providing initial launch support for new protocols entering the space and assisting their smooth ongoing operations. The DAO aims to foster an environment of collaboration and mutual support among protocols within the broader DAO landscape.
The DAO’s bold experiment in catalyzing asset expansion could ripple out to benefit many blockchain protocols and communities in the future.

What makes you a DAO member?
DAO membership stems from the underlying protocols participating within the NGAD ecosystem.
Each quarter, $NGAD is distributed to users and contributors from these member protocols as an incentive for engagement.
Distribution rules evolve over time but fundamentally aim to reward the contribution and performance of each protocol community.
Genesis Distribution to EQB Stakeholders
As a pioneering supporter of NGAD’s formation, stakeholders from the @Equilibriafi protocol will receive a genesis distribution of $NGAD tokens. The $EQB core contributor team will additionally allocate a significant portion of their $EQB holdings into the new DAO upon launch.
