@HoldstationW will have two types of tokens. The two tokens have distinct utilities - $HOLD for governance and platform incentives, $uGOLD for transacting and trading on the platform:
$HOLD is a governance token that enables holders to participate in decision making through voting, farm yields, and get fee discounts. It has a fixed supply and decaying emission schedule that rewards long term holders.
The fixed supply and decaying emission model for $HOLD distributes tokens over time with decreasing emissions, intended to incentivize holding/staking tokens long-term.
$uGOLD is an exchange token to facilitate conversion of GOLD reward points into uGOLD which can be used for transactions, trading, paying fees on the platform.
$uGOLD is mintable only through a redeemable process using on-chain GOLD reward points.
How you can earn tokens?
Both passive holdings via staking and vaults, and active platform usage and participation provide various avenues to earn the $HOLD and $uGOLD tokens.
Become a Vault Staker - Stake assets in the Vaults to passively earn $HOLD tokens over time through yield farming incentives. This allows earning governance tokens just by holding assets in the vaults.
Become a Trader/User - Take advantage of the platform features and loyalty programs to earn $GOLD reward points through trading activity and platform usage. $GOLD points can then be redeemed for $uGOLD tokens.
