🔷 More Financial Decentralization 🔷
We’ve seen how the CEXes have been heavily beaten by the SEC. Withdrawals halted, office closures. Trading activity becomes heavily disrupted and distrusted on those platforms, and one that will stand to benefit the most is Perp DEXes.
That inflow of capital multiplied by leverage will see insane fees and usage on these platforms.
DeFi is the new age of financialization but achieving true decentralization at scale has been difficult. There’ve been new models for decentralization emerging that can support richer features and more effective decentralized governance and DAO strucutre.
🔷 Account Abstraction as the New Normal 🔷
The UX of DeFi hasn;t changed much since 2016 and remains too complicated for most users.
Just tell your normie friends how to get their funds over to Metamask and interact with DeFi and many wouldn’t be interested at all on that. They rather be the missor and rely on CEXes.
This goes to show that DeFi is far lagging in terms of UI and UX and remains the high barrier to entry for many. Tech stack like account abstraction would great ease the onboarding process for thm.
Tools such as passkeys, smart accounts, embedded wallets, and advanced endpoints promise to dramatically simplify crypto's UX. Slowly but surely, these innovations could make web3 easier and more secure than web2.
🔷 The Rise of the Modular Tech Stack 🔷
Monolithic architectures allow tight integration and optimization but lock out permissionless innovation. On the flipside, monolithic maxis might argue that with validity proofs, it will make their architecture the superior one.
However, I’ll stick with the modularity narrative. These modular open-source tech stacks unlock specialization and competition. Despite some tradeoffs, modular architectures are critical for decentralization and especially the case with $TIA, where people are all raving about its modular design.
🔷 Fusion of AI and Blockchains 🔷
The once-prohibitive work of training a ChatGPT could be over. ChatGPT controlled by tech giant and could only be possible because there is no incentive for smaller players to do so.
However, with decentralized blockchains, we can counterbalance centralized AI by creating open markets for compute and data. This makes AI more affordable and governed democratically. Crypto's transparency also helps track the origins of AI-generated content like deep fakes.
🔷 P2E Becomes Play and Earn 🔷
"Play to earn" have been destructive to their ecosysem with player only interested in the monetization aspect. This comes about as the nature of P2E aming compensates players for their time, aligning with the broader ideals of creators. Scholars plays the game on your behalf while creating huge sell pressure for the token.
With $AVAX at the core layer for games, game developments there will pave the paradigm for how game will be built. I will be keeping my eye on that.
This paradigm will change as games shouldn't feel like workplaces. So "play to earn" is shifting towards "play and earn" - fun games that also let players, projects, and token holders capture value.
🔷 AI Game Creation 🔷
The use cases of AI is widespread, and we will make a huge stride with the decentralization of AI. However, with the gaming scene heating up and games generally requiring a huge build time, AI will speed up that time to market.
Imagine AI creating game worlds, designing gameplay and finding the most optimal token incentive structure that benefits all, this will be a game changer.
🔷 NFTs Reflects Brand Value 🔷
Major brands have introduced NFTs to mainstream consumers recently. Luxury brands entering the blockchain space and NFTs for certain collection
Soon enough all other brands would follow suit to incorporate NFTs into their product line. Use cases could include NFTs for identity, community, bridging physical/digital goods, and co-creating with fans.
