Threading on the Edge is a crypto newsletter that digs into the depths for the alpha. Empowering everyone to get unchained from the hellish mundane work of 9to5. I am working towards that, so let’s get to the end of the tunnel together.
Newsletters are entirely FREE and I hope to get your subscription and your donation support to keep my efforts going. If you like the content, I would appreciate some form of donation of any amount, be it as a regular support or a one-time coffee tip.
Prologue
I have been in the crypto space, researching and finding great learnings shared by many chads. Decided that these “alpha”, early information before the masses, to be share to friends and the wider community. Such resources gathered are already part of my crypto journey. So, this Substack will be starting off with the highlights of the week based on the tweets and articles I have read shared by others.
In the following section, I will give a breakdown of the structure of the Weekly Highlights. Basically, it will be sectioned into 5 parts:
Macro news
Trending narratives
Defi happenings
Educational resources or tools
Spicy crypto drama
Let me get into some details into of each of them.
1. Macro news
This section would focus on the broader macro-economic news. They can be market moving news such as fed announcements or any business and finance related news. Though this is a crypto newsletter, the sentiments in the tradfi market would trickle down and affect crypto’s performance.
This would be important to help projects and their founders think about their roadmapping timeline and the launch strategy. For traders, degens and investors, it would be helpful as they look for entry and exit points.
2. Trending Narratives
Crypto market moves so fast sometimes that if we catch the bandwagon of the frequently mentioned narratives too late, we would be left holding the leftover bags. That is not ideal and so, I am putting together a weekly summary of the narratives brought up by the crypto twitter (also known as CT) community in this portion of the newsletter.
This will give everyone a better idea of where the crypto market is heading and identify and subtle changes early.
3. Defi happenings
Undoubtedly, Defi can complement Cefi or it potentially as an alternative to Cefi. I enjoyed the developments in Defi and there are many opportunities in there that I think we can capitalise on. Didn’t want the communtiy to miss out on this and so I am sharing just only the more critical happenings here. Else, there could be just too much to share.
4. Educational resources or tools
Everyone starts out fresh and in those days I recall that tools these educational materials and tools really help me onboard into crypto. Constantly, with so many new updates, OG crypto tools evolve and new ones come in to offer new insights.
Learning how to use these tools and reading up on the crypto 101 resources really help with my crypto journey.
5. Spicy crypto drama
A section more for the juicy happenings, like crypto drama and interesting news.
Would greatly appreciate your support!
