2. Trending Narratives

Bitcoin hit a new yearly high of $44,700 on Dec 9th but then experienced a dip down to $40,600. It has since bounced back to around $43K. Overall market sentiment has shifted back to bullish.

Several altcoins have outperformed Bitcoin over the past week, with the strongest performers being Injective Protocol ($INJ, +80%), Celestia ($TIA, +35%), and Avalanche ($AVAX, +45%).

$INJ, $TIA, and $AVAX recovered the fastest from the recent Bitcoin-led dip. Coins that rebound quickly tend to stay hot in an uptrend.
Older alt L1s like $ADA, $DOT, and $ALGO pumped over 20-30% this week, signaling potential retail FOMO. However, their future outperformance compared to $BTC and $ETH may be limited.
The $JTO airdrop was very lucrative for Solana ecosystem holders. This created a wealth effect and pumped coins like $BONK, $RAY, $FIDA, etc. Airdrop farming is worth considering.
Gaming coins like $IMX and launchpad coins like $SFUND continue to benefit from the steady gaming and metaverse narratives.
Cosmos ecosystem coins including $TIA, $INJ, $KUJI, and $OSMO were strong, underlining Cosmos strength.
Bitcoin L2 coin $STX and BRC-20 leader $ORDI pumped 25%+ in a day, rebounding with Bitcoin. $ORDI could reach $100.
